Akin serves more than 12,000 families and children per year through seven family resource centers and more than 20 locations and local community partnerships.

 

In January 2024, Childhaven and Children’s Home Society of Washington merged to form a new organization: Akin. Akin leverages the best of both legacy organizations to advance family well-being, early childhood education, early relational health, mental health support, family resource centers and workforce development.
